The boy has become responsive to our questions and he even speaks his mind.
Example 1
We were getting ready to go out on one weekend morning, I had dressed him with an overall. Initially, he loves it and keep looking into the mirror. But after awhile he started to remove the buckle and ket telling us pain pain. So ok, I removed the overall and asked hubby to let him wear a shorts instead. Then the boy refused to wear, he shook his head. So they had this conversation.
Hubby: Why are you not wearing your shorts?
*Kingsley shaked his head*
Hubby: You don't like the color?
Change another shorts? Red? Match your top?
*Kingsley nodded his head*
Example 2
One morning he run to the fridge and took one apple and told me he wants apple.
After finishing the apple, he went to the fridge again and took another apple. So I had this conversation with him.
Me: Kingsley, you just finished an apple. One day one apple ok?
*Kingsley holding the apple in his hand and refused to give me*
Me: Kingsley, one day how many apple?
Kingsley: Two apple (though his finger showing one)
Now with him being able to decide and choose, it is harder to get him to change into his uniform in the morning. We have to spend time coaxing him. But well definitely a great progress for him.
