My Very First Tooth

The boy has been drooling, fussing and putting whatever he can grab into his mouth, including almost all his fingers. Recently I bought him a teether that can be refrigerated, hoping that the icy cold feeling will help ease the pressure under his gums.

Days before chinese new year we discovered the boy's first tooth, on his lower gum. Hee.. Good development for him at 5 months plus going 6 months. :)

I am 5 months

Kingsley turned 5 months last Tuesday. He is already very proficient in flipping, so fast that he fell off the sofa and onto the mat once. *Ouch* Hubby was worried that the impact may damage his brain, we monitored his behaviour for a day and everything seems normal. Sorry Kingsley mama's negligence. Since then we dont dare to leave alone on high places.

He has also learnt to respond when you talk, play with him or pass him toys however is mood dependent.

Last Month of 2011

I love December especially with all the festive holidays. This year is abit different as we have an addition to our family. We had simple lunch and dinner for both Christmas and New Year Eve, no more late night partying or count down for us. And quietly 2011 ended.

2011 is an eventful year for us, to sum up the year:
1) Went through pregnancy and labour - indeed something I am proud of myself for being able to go through esp the labour pain.
2) Entering into a new phase of life - Experencing parenthood, a great change for both of us, we no longer have our own freedom. Well, this is our responsibilities and seeing him being happy and growing well makes us feel that everything is worth it. Parents love are really great!!

My Resolutions for 2012

I hope i can be a better mum, as I am still learning to be one and same goes for the dad..
For Kingsley, I just wish he will grow well and healthy...
